SUGGESTED USE
These lace caps are designed specifically for flat laces. They’re great for sneakers, dress shoes, or casual footwear, adding a polished look while preventing fraying. Simply attach them to the ends of your flat laces for a clean and stylish finish.
Step 1
SET LENGTH
Adjust the amount of lace you want to hang out from the sides to achieve your desired look and fit.
Step 2
CUT LACE
Cut off the excess lace once you're happy with the length. Keep in mind that once you cut, there's no going back, so be sure of your desired length before trimming.
Step 3
BURN THE ENDS
Singe the ends of the laces after cutting to prevent fraying and ensure a clean finish. Be cautious and use a lighter or similar tool to carefully seal the edges.
Step 4
FEED IN LACE
Proceed to fold the lace end to make it easier to feed into the lace cap. Ensure the folded side is positioned opposite the open end. The point where the two ends meet should not face upward, this ensures a smoother and more clean fit within the cap.
Step 5
CLAMP THE CAP
Once the lace is fully inserted into the cap, proceed to clamp it down. You will hear a noticeable click, confirming that the lever has engaged and the cap is securely locked in place.
Step 6
COMPLETION
If followed correctly, you will have successfully installed our lace cap on the end of your laces, providing a secure and polished finish.
